What to do on a wet Scottish Day?

1st option - the couple friendly option, go to the movies.

Wow, the movie theatres in Edinburgh are pretty nice. Leather seats, ottomans, tables, drinks and a small theatre sitting only 25. We got in for senior rates, I hid behind the old grey haired man.
The movie was Hope Springs with Tommy Lee Jones and Merryl Streep. Great actors, pity about the movie - a bit slow, but the ending was nice.
It didn't matter, sinking down into those seats with our feet resting on the ottomans and a wine in our hand, we were in seventh heaven.

2nd option - the self indulgent one, shopping

Thank god for the rain, otherwise I'd never have discovered the op shops or the T.k.MAX in the next suburb.
Chris has told me that if I buy anything else it won't fit in the car.
The shop assistant asked politely if there was a bag weight limit on the plane.

3rd Option- a glass of red; always a good one

Chris is still trying to convince DIGBY that it's not a good idea to walk in the rain. I don't much fancy his chances ..........DIGBY is not a force to be reckoned with lightly!
